Go Kart

This was Michael Humphrey's go-kart.  When he outgrew it, Ray and Syl sent it to the farm to be used.  The boys have driven it's wheels off this summer.  Even Jaydon has taken a turn or 2.  Luke Tiensvold came down to spend some time with Jared, so they had to take it for a few spins.

I'm a sucker for a sunset...

Boys on the Farm

Dad's cattle tank has goldfish and salamanders in it.  Jared focuses on the fish and Josh likes the lizards.
And Jaydon just loves...slip-n-slides. Anything to do with water!  Hoses, sprinklers, tanks, water balloons, water guns.  He should have been born with gills!

Henna Tattoo 2

Here's what it looked like after the henna paste fell off.

Henna Tattoo

I went to a girlfriends birthday party in June and she had a henna artist there doing tattoos.  Now, I would never get a permanent tattoo, but this only lasts a few weeks and is all natural.  She used a plant-based paste to draw on the image and the pigments from the plant color your skin.
As she worked on the details of the image, she explained the meaning behind the image I chose.  The circle with a dot in the center of the image signifies being centered and the 4 hearts around the circle mean centered love in all 4 directions and all 4 seasons.  The chain on both sides of my foot is ancestoral, showing value in past generations and those to come.  It also shows growth and potential.  The dots on the chain and by the hearts are sparks of new ideas and passion.  I'll bet you never thought you could learn so much about me by looking at my foot!  ;)

Jaydon's Last T-Ball game in June

He was so excited to play catcher.  I'm not really sure he knew his job, but he liked dressing up in all the gear.
The season is over and Jaydon had a really good time.  Before we started, he was not so sure he wanted to play.  He kept telling me to "sign me out", but now he's asking if  he can play again next year.
